We offer tartar removal for most cats. This is a very expensive procedure when performed at a vet’s office. The reason is that the veterinarian will run blood work to determine if it is safe to put the cat under anesthesia then they will administer the cleaning while the cat is asleep. The vets office will remove the tartar, same as we do it. Then they will polish the teeth and remove any loose or diseased teeth. We do not polish or remove teeth, however we will tell you if the cat has gum or tooth disease and recommend that the cat see your veterinarian. Video of a deaf dog getting tartar cracked off. We welcome the kitties! Many groomers will not groom cats and we have a groomer on staff, Dodie!, who absolutely adores the kitties. Her goal is to become known as the Cat-Lady of The Peninsula. (Currituck and Camden counties)
How about birds? Oh my gosh, yes, we come to your home to groom your bird. Birds require very little in the way of grooming and most birds owners do their own work, but if you are fearful of clipping wings or cutting toe nails, we’re here to help! We also trim beaks.
